De Bijenkorf, 2010


The largest Dutch department store, “de Bijenkorf”, comparable to Harrods, Macy’s or Takashimaya, was faced with an issue in one of their stores. In the book division, large glass screens were placed to divided the space. Customers however, were not aware of the presence glass screens and would occasionally bump into them. To prevent such mishappenings, I designed large transparent stickers to be placed on the glass screens. The stickers have themes referring to reading, such as focus, peace of mind, reading pleasure and of course the alphabet.
